Welcome!
Minnesota Pharmacist's
Recovery Network is a volunteer program started
in 1982, designed by pharmacists for fellow pharmacists.
Mission Statement:
"Our purpose is to act as a concerned
intermediary by assisting pharmacists
who have personal problems including emotional stress, alcohol abuse
and/or other drug abuse or dependency problems."
The PRN support group meets weekly to promote professional recovery through
networking with each other and to be free of our addictive disease and
isolation.
We have no direct connection with any association, licensing board, college,
or
12 step program. We are self-sustaining. This is not an AA, NA or other
meeting,
hence we are not bound by those formats. However, we believe that personal
recovery depends on regular attendance and participation in 12 step
mutual help programs.
